The Team
Justin
As the producer and one of the gameplay programmers of Deep Squid, Justin came up with the original concept of the game, which was iterated on by the rest of the members. Graduating with B.S. in Computer Game Design from UC Santa Cruz, he hopes that Deep Squid is one of many games he will create, and have people enjoy for years to come. |
Alex
As Lead Programmer, Alexander Gonzalez is in charge with system design, SCRUM management, along with any other programming issues. Graduating with a major in Computer Science: Game Design at UCSC helped him realize his passion in A.I. programming. |
Alexis
Alexis is currently a senior at UCSC studying for a B.S. in Computer Science: Game Design. Within Team Rising Tide he is in charge of Level Design as well as lead tester. As a resident of the Bay Area, he really enjoys coming up with game ideas or ones that will make a game more vibrant and alive. [email protected] |
Nick:
I, Nick Campolito, am a Film and Digital Media Student who happened to wander into the UCSC Game Design Lab at the right moment and somehow landed on a Game Development Team in charge of Artistic Direction and Gameplay Programming. I will be graduating this Spring with a lovely degree in Film and Digital Media with a Minor in Computer Science. I enjoy popsicles and sandwiches that take an hour to make yet three minutes to consume. |
Gina:
Worming her way from programming into the art team, Gina provides 3D models, animations, and 2D art to bring worlds to life. Changing tracks for a B.A. in Games and Playable Media after three years as a CS Game Design student is building up plenty of design and art experience. http://ginanagel.weebly.com/ |
Aubrey:
Aubrey is a Games and Playable Media student at UC Santa Cruz. Aubrey is in her third year at UCSC and has been making games for four years. She is experienced in Blender, Autodesk Maya, and Autodesk 3DS Max. In the future, she hopes to design games for an independent company. |
Myriam:
Myriam is a 4th year art student who studied with a focus in printmaking and 3D digital art. She has worked with other game and animation projects for the past 3 years. Having experience on working with blender, she plans to take more 3D/animation courses to one day apply it to her dream job. [email protected] |
