History
Deep Squid started off as a mere pitch for the 2015-16 UC Santa Cruz senior game design project. It has since proven its worth through the green lighting process and several months of development. Through development, the game’s theme has shifted from a largely realistic experience, with a few krakenly quirks, to an absurdly fun underwater adventure. Not to mention the three month naming period- you almost got to play "Rising Tide" instead. No matter what element we altered, kept constant was the need to feel like a mighty Kraken in an enticing, actually underwater world.
